Audio/Visual (AV)

When you would be required:
- Before and during Sunday morning services from 10am to finish.
- A couple of training sessions during the course of the year.
- Optional opportunities to attend Monday worship practice (7:15-8:45pm).
What this area involves:
- Managing the sound on a Sunday morning, turning the various microphones and instruments up and down as required.
- Loading the songs and presentations into a service on our software which projects these to the congregation.
- Streaming the service requires the stream to be set up, cameras to be switched on, and the various visuals changed. We have a easy way of doing this which is through big buttons.
- Suggesting improvements to the set up and technical or process elements.
- Contribute to the delivery of worship from the music team.
Other:
- Join a friendly group of people who all have a passion for technology and music.
Requirements:
- A general familiarity with computers and their basic functionality.
- Any sound desk experience is welcome but truly not essential.
- Confidence with what sounds good, and able to identify where the sound isn’t quite right. Training to fix it is provided; it is the awareness we’re interested in.
- The willingness to learn and know we are not a professional team.
