Kids Team
Leader: Jo Beckford
When you would be required:
- From 10.30am on a Sunday morning.
- Approximately once a month (but can be more or less depending on your availability)
- Team meeting once or twice a year for updates and training
What this area involves:
- Assist with setting up the session area and with clearing away afterwards.
- Contribute to the effective running of the session.
- Assist with any craft or practical activities, within your own capabilities.
- Assist with any toileting needs, where necessary/appropriate.
- Pursue your own spiritual growth including attending Sunday services regularly.
- Abide by the church safeguarding policy and attend any relevant training.
- Report any concerns or ideas for improvement to the session Leader.
Other:
- To be a friendly face 😊
Requirements:
- You need to be committed to children's wellbeing and an ability to see the inherent worth and dignity of every child.
- The ability to work as a part of a team.
- A knowledge of what it means to have a living relationship with Christ and the ability to articulate your faith to children
- To be a regular worshipper at Elim Church Glossop.
- An informal chat with one of our Leaders, to complete an enhanced DBS and provide references.
